Nini Suet

Founder & Head Consultant at Shang Learning

Bachelor of Princeton University

A Beijing native with eight years of studying abroad experiences, Nini remains true to her “dudish” northerner personality.

At the age of 14, Nini left Beijing Jingshan School to begin her journey abroad. She was accepted early with full scholarship into Princeton University in New Jersey, US, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and East Asian Studies, along with Certificates in Finance and Korean Language.

Nini interned at JP Morgan Chase & Co’s New York office as an investment banking analyst during her sophomore summer at Princeton. Later in life, Nini switched several careers. She has finally built her own digital media company, QI Post Limited, in 2012, which brings a multi-city perspective to urban living topics for the jet-setting Chinese travelers around the globe. After moving back to Beijing in 2013, she is working on her second venture, Shang Learning, an elite education consultancy that services the next generation of Chinese leaders through bespoke programs that best prepare them for their journeys to the West – academically, socially and professionally.

Xin Guo(郭欣)

Co-founder and CEO of Everwood Learning Center

BBA of Babson College

Xin Guo is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) alumnus from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, a prestigious business school ranked by U.S. News & World Report as No.1 in Entrepreneurship for 23 consecutive years. At Babson, Xin was trained as an entrepreneur.

He also served as a coach for undergraduate students in the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP) and a mentor in the Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) program. Xin was the only student speaker at the 64th Commencement Ceremony of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and the first Chinese graduate ever who delivered a commencement speech at Babson College. Xin is a member of American Camp Association.

He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Everwood Learning Center (ELC). Prior to co-founding ELC, Xin worked at a global marketing firm McCann World Group as management trainee, at a private manufacturing company FAF Valve Company in Turkey as Chief Representative in China, and at a non-profit educational program TopU College as director.

Xin Guo(郭鑫)

President & CEO of Career International

Prior to joining Career International, Mr. Guo was the Managing Director for Mercer Greater China and a global senior partner at Mercer. He was also the Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) in China. MMC is the parent company of Mercer. During his 10 year tenure at Mercer, Mr. Guo Xin had held a variety of leadership positions, including Asia Pacific Human Capital business leader and Deputy Head for Asia Pacific with responsibilities of leading Asia.

In the past 20 years, he has held various management positions in consulting industry both in the US and China. His consulting expertise is mostly in working with clients on developing strategic organization structures, business processes, and human resource systems. His clients include local private and listed companies, state-owned enterprises and multinational companies in and outside of China.

Mr. Guo graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautic with the bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and the master‘s degree in Systems Engineering. He also received an MBA degree from University of San Francisco in the United States.

Randy Richardson

Head Consultant at Shang Learning

Randy graduated in 2010 from Princeton University with a BA in East Asian Studies, focusing on Chinese language and translation. He has spent the last 5 years working in education in China, first as curriculum developer and instructor for SAT and TOEFL, then as a college admissions consultant, and currently doing some of all three as Lead Consultant at Shang Learning.

In 2013 I began participating in one of Beijing largest social running communities, HeyRunning, which was started by a Swedish national marathon runner. In 2014 I took on more responsibility within the organization by becoming a coach and then a lead coach. As a head coach, my responsibilities included creating training plans for different levels of runners and leading groups of runners 3 times per week. In 2015, he took over management of the HeyRunning, which was a club started by a Swedish national marathon runner, for about 6 months as it was in transition between leadership. As manager he organized, marketed and found sponsors for two 10-week training camps with about 80 or so participants in each camp. He also held special corporate training sessions for big events like the Color Run, Chongqing Marathon and the Lanzhou Marathon.

Sean currently plays the role of GM for the wealth management BU of Renrendai Co., Ltd,. Renrendai is one of top leader internet finance companies in China, providing online individual finance service for 100w+ customers.

Before joining Renrendai, Sean was the founder and CEO of An Tou Bao Co., Ltd, the company was set up aiming at choosing the most safety P2P investment product for investors by quantitative models.

Before that, Sean setup US branch in SV for UCWeb which is the biggest the 3rd party mobile browser company in China.

During year 2006 to 2012 Sean has worked in Huawei as a senior business consultant, and he was a journalist in CCTV before that.

Sean have proven commercial awareness and management skills coupled with strategy setting capabilities.

Chao Hu

HU Chao, Founder of HandSoap Works, a social enterprise to promote health programs in China. Most recently he held positions such as Chief Human Resources Officer of msy.cn, and HR Director at Qunar.om.

HU Chao started his career as a TV journalist and has maintained a keen interest in public affairs and social topics. After business school, he moved into the corporate world with nearly 20 years spent in Singapore, U.S. and China. In January 2017, he started the HandSoap Works, of which a primary goal is to create an effective supply chain to equip public toilets in China with sufficient and quality soap.

HU Chao has an MBA degree from INSEAD (France) and a B.A. degree from Hubei University (China). In 2000 – 2001, he was a participant of The Reuters Foundation Fellowship Program at Oxford University (U.K.) for journalism researches.

Dr. Hu has 8 years experience of professional consulting in engineering and then financial industries. Prior to BMW, he was a financial consultant at Bloomberg - he joined Bloomberg in the US and then relocated to China for a closer market engagement. Dr. Hu had 10 years experience of studying overseas in the US, Switzerland and the UK since high school. He jointly-completed his PhD degree in Engineering from University of Delaware and Harvard University. 

As a consultant with expertise in finance and corporate strategies, Dr. Hu has led and participated in several high-profiled M&A activities. Some recent deals including Apple's asset acquisition on Goldwind in China, and Huaneng's overseas M&A of power plant assets in the UK. Many of his other cases are undisclosed. His key clients including financial buy sides, sell sides, and also industrial and financial corporates - various from Chinese State-owned Enterprises to the Wall Street.
